I've worked in painting and decorating from 1995 to 2019. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 1,300 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 25 years later for another job.
More about Teresita
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Teresita: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
