I coached athletics at Mandaue Silverlake Athletic Club from 1986 to 2014. Most of my players were between 12 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turned anyone away.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
What gifts mean to Teresita: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
