Teresita B. Galang
Master of pottery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇵🇭 Caloocan, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Old Caloocan Workshop
- Since 2017
- English
I've worked in pottery since 2017. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 410 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Teresita
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Teresita: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
