I teach design and technology at Oakwood Secondary School in San Jose since 1979. Most days I teach Grade 8, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I've coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Teresa: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
