Teresa K. Figueroa
37 years teaching computer science in Springfield
- 🇺🇸 Springfield, Illinois, United States
- Springfield High School
- Since 1994
- English
For 32 years I have been the computer science teacher at Springfield High School. I teach Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Teresa
If you were in my Year 7 class, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

What gifts mean to Teresa: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me computer science in 2010 at Springfield High School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
