I've been a nurse for 47 years, most of them in rehabilitation at Mount Pleasant Maternity Hospital in Envigado. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
