Teresa G. Benítez
Master of auto repair, now teaching apprentices

I've worked in auto repair from 1989 to 2016. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 1,490 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I walk the dog by the river.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Teresa: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
