I coached martial arts at Los Angeles Heritage Sports Club from 1993 to 2008. Most of my players were between 8 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turned anyone away.
More about Teresa
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Teresa: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You coached me in 1994. I still hear your voice on the sideline Truly.
