I spent 13 years as a lecturer in civil engineering at Ciudad de México Polytechnic in Ciudad de México. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
My door was open at lunch. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Teresa: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
