Teklu Yohannes Yilma
Watercolor artist in Mekelle
- 🇪🇹 Mekelle, Tigray, Ethiopia
- Mekelle Gallery
- Since 1987
- English, Amharic
I work mostly in watercolor, sometimes digital art. My first show was in 1987 at Mekelle Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I try to remember everyone's name. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Teklu
I've had 8 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
