Teklu Taye
Tennis coach, Jimma Harmony Sports Club
- 🇪🇹 Jimma, Oromia, Ethiopia
- 1982 to 1995
- English, Amharic
I coached tennis at Jimma Harmony Sports Club from 1982 to 1995. Most of my players were between 12 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Teklu
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
