Teklu Ephrem Mekonnen
Glass art artist in Jimma
- 🇪🇹 Jimma, Oromia, Ethiopia
- Jimma Print Workshop
- Since 2018
- English, Spanish
I work mostly in glass art, sometimes woodcarving. My first show was in 2018 at Jimma Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by my grandmother's kitchen. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
