Tejaswini N. Chettiar

Painter, potter and teacher at Kolkata Art Collective

  • 🇮🇳 Kolkata, West Bengal, India
  • Kolkata Art Collective
  • 1983 to 2006
  • English, Tamil
I work mostly in mural painting, sometimes embroidery. My first show was in 1983 at Kolkata Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. I also teach a weekly class at Kolkata Art Collective, which keeps me honest. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Tejaswini

I've had 12 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Tejaswini: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
