Tejas K. Deshmukh
Master of plumbing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Mysuru, Karnataka, India
- Beacon Shop
- 2005 to 2024
- English, Marathi
I've worked in plumbing from 2005 to 2024. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 720 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I try to remember everyone's name.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Tejas: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
