Tejal B. Kale
Master of painting and decorating, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Mysuru, Karnataka, India
- The Hillcrest Trades Guild
- 1978 to 1995
- English
I've worked in painting and decorating from 1978 to 1995. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 440 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Tejal: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
