Tejal A. Apte
Master of leatherwork, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Oakwood Works
- Since 2003
- English, Gujarati
I'm a leatherwork specialist. If you live around Mumbai, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I try to remember everyone's name.

If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Tejal: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
