I taught geography at Lahore Technical College in Lahore from 1981 to 2017. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I never turned anyone away.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
