Tayo Yakubu Popoola
Oil painting and embroidery artist
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Since 1979
- English, Yoruba
I work mostly in oil painting, sometimes embroidery. My first show was in 1979 at Bayview Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
