Tayo Tunde Abdullahi
Tiling for nine years in Ikeja
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Old Ikeja Trades Guild
- 1987 to 1996
- English, Yoruba, French
I've worked in tiling from 1987 to 1996. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 340 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Tayo
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
