Tayo Daniel Okonkwo
Local painting and decorating and weaving
- 🇳🇬 Ibadan, Oyo, Nigeria
- Crescent Trades Guild
- Since 1985
- English
I've worked in painting and decorating since 1985. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 1,560 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.

What gifts mean to Tayo: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
