Tayo Bankole
Keeper of the rare books
- 🇳🇬 Badagry, Lagos, Nigeria
- Eastgate Archive
- 1996 to 2016
- English, Yoruba, Spanish
For 20 years I looked after the shelves, the card catalog and the regulars at Eastgate Archive.
Some of my favorite visitors were children who came for the heating and stayed for the books.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Tayo
If you ever returned a book late to me, you're forgiven.
