Carpentry, done properly
- 🇬🇧 Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom
- The Greenfield Trades Guild
- 1992 to 2004
- English
I've worked in carpentry from 1992 to 2004. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 230 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 15 years later for another job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Taylor
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Taylor: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
