I taught biology at Sunrise Middle School in Dhaka from 1995 to 2007. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Taslima
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Taslima: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
