Taslima Howlader
Master of carpentry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇧🇩 Gazipur, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Old Beacon Works
- 1989 to 2007
- English
I'm a carpentry specialist. If you live around Gazipur, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
More about Taslima
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Taslima: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
