Tarun S. Arora
Youth basketball coach and mentor
- 🇮🇳 Pune, Maharashtra, India
- 1998 to 2021
- English
I coached basketball at Pune Youth Club from 1998 to 2021. Most of my players were between 11 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Tarun
If you played for me, you probably remember that terrible school play.

What gifts mean to Tarun: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You coached me in 2007. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from San Jose.
