Tariq Omer Ali
Art teacher at Mount Pleasant Public School, 1983 to 2014

I taught art at Mount Pleasant Public School in Multan from 1983 to 2014. Most days I taught Year 9, and I never turned anyone away.
I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Tariq
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Tariq: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
