I coached baseball at Dhaka Football Club from 2012 to 2021. Most of my players were between 9 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Tareq
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Tareq: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
