Tareq Rubel Sarker
Textiles and mural painting artist
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Since 1978
- English, Bengali, Spanish
I got into textiles as a hobby and somewhere along the way it became the thing I do every day.
I also teach a weekly class at Old Holy Cross Art Collective, which keeps me honest.
More about Tareq
I've had 3 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Tareq: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
