Tareq Faruk Jahan
31 years teaching environmental science in Gazipur
- 🇧🇩 Gazipur, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Mount Pleasant Middle School
- 1994 to 2006
- English, Bengali
For twelve years I was the environmental science teacher at Mount Pleasant Middle School. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Tareq
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Tareq: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
