Tarık Selim Aydın
Carpentry for eleven years in Istanbul
- 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
- The Istanbul Workshop
- 2000 to 2011
- English
I've worked in carpentry from 2000 to 2011. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 430 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I like to keep things simple and honest.
More about Tarık
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Tarık: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
