Tarık Mustafa Doğan
14 years teaching economics in Istanbul
- 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
- 1999 to 2019
- English, Turkish
I taught economics and Spanish at Heritage Technical College, Istanbul. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Tarık
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
