I've worked in painting and decorating since 2002. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 840 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 14 years later for another job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Tanvir
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Tanvir: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
