Tanvir Hridoy Akter
Mentor in writing and leadership
- 🇮🇳 Howrah, West Bengal, India
- Howrah Mentoring Circle
- 1980 to 1991
- English, Bengali
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 620 people through Howrah Mentoring Circle.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Tanvir: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
