Tanvir Dipu Akter

Religious studies and physical education teacher, Dhaka

  • 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
  • 2009 to 2017
  • English, French
I taught religious studies at Unity High School in Dhaka from 2009 to 2017. Most days I taught Year 7, and I never turned anyone away. Over the years I had 150 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Tanvir: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
