Tanvi W. Awasthi
13 years teaching social studies in Madurai
- 🇮🇳 Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India
- Phoenix Grammar School
- Since 2004
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 22 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Tanvi
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me social studies in 2015 at Phoenix Grammar School. I still remember the rainy sports day.

I was in your Grade 8 class in 2004. You believed I could do it before I did Truly.
