Taner Yiğit Altun
Coached baseball for 29 years in Üsküdar
- 🇹🇷 Üsküdar, Istanbul, Türkiye
- 1989 to 2018
- English, Turkish
I coached baseball at Üsküdar Greenfield Athletic Club from 1989 to 2018. Most of my players were between 9 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.

You coached me in 2008. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Limerick.
