Taner Türk
Professor of modern history, Highland Institute of Technology
- 🇹🇷 Üsküdar, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Highland Institute of Technology
- 2007 to 2023
- English
I spent 16 years as a lecturer in modern history at Highland Institute of Technology in Üsküdar. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Taner
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Taner: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
