I've volunteered with Birmingham Community Kitchen since 1985. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
Our crew is about 18 people now. Everyone brings something.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Tammy: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
