Tamanna Rashid
Statistics and religious studies teacher, Thane
- 🇮🇳 Thane, Maharashtra, India
- Greenfield Girls' School
- Since 1999
- English, Bengali
For 27 years I have been the statistics teacher at Greenfield Girls' School. I teach Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I sing in a choir. Inside it, I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Tamanna
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Tamanna: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
