Tamanna Popy Alam
Youth dance coach and mentor
- 🇧🇩 Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Riverside Swimming Club
- 1996 to 2016
- English, Bengali
For 20 years I ran the dance program at Riverside Swimming Club in Savar. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I garden badly but happily.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Tamanna
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Tamanna: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
