Tamanna Farhana Akter
32 years teaching economics in Mumbai
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Sakura Public School
- Since 2006
- English, Bengali
I teach economics and accounting at Sakura Public School, Mumbai. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I've had 380 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

If you were in my mixed-ability classes class, you probably remember the snow day nobody expected.
