I'm a textiles artist based in Osaka. I've been making things since 1996 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
What gifts mean to Tamaki: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.

I bought one of your pieces in 1997. It's still the first thing I see in the morning. Greetings from Mekelle.
