Takashi Isamu Okamoto
Traditional drumming player and teacher in Tokyo
- 🇯🇵 Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan
- Tokyo Music School
- Since 1996
- English, Japanese
I've played traditional drumming since 1996, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 20 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I garden badly but happily.

What gifts mean to Takashi: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
