Tahmina Runa Mia
Self-taught sculpture artist
- 🇧🇩 Khulna, Khulna, Bangladesh
- 1993 to 2009
- English
I work mostly in sculpture, sometimes oil painting. My first show was in 1993 at Valley View Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Valley View Gallery, which keeps me honest.
More about Tahmina
I've had 9 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Tahmina: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
