24 years teaching art in Cairo

I teach art at Meadowbank Academy in Cairo since 2003. Most days I teach the youngest children, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 410 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Taghreed
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Taghreed: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me art in 2014 at Meadowbank Academy. I still remember the rainy sports day. Greetings from Pittsburgh.
