For 43 years I have been the home economics teacher at Shubra Primary School. I teach the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, my door is open at lunch.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Taghreed
If you were in my the final-year class class, you probably remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.

What gifts mean to Taghreed: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me home economics in 2008 at Shubra Primary School. I still remember the time the class pet escaped.
