Tadesse Leul Assefa
Master of pottery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
- Addis Ababa Repairs
- 2010 to 2020
- English, Amharic
I've worked in pottery from 2010 to 2020. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 390 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
I'm still learning every day.
What gifts mean to Tadesse: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
