Tabitha Ruth Kioko
Master of welding, now teaching apprentices
- 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
- 1984 to 2021
- English
I've worked in welding from 1984 to 2021. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 1,000 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 25 years later for another job.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Tabitha: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
