Tabitha Imani Ngowi
47 years at Thika Reading Room
- 🇰🇪 Thika, Kiambu, Kenya
- Thika Reading Room
- Since 1979
- English
For 47 years I look after the shelves, the card catalog and the regulars at Thika Reading Room.
I write a short note to every student at the end of term. A library should feel like a living room.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Tabitha
If you ever returned a book late to me, you're forgiven.
What gifts mean to Tabitha: A gift would go toward books for the children's corner.
