Youth athletics coach and mentor

I coached athletics at Pune Cedar Grove Swimming Club from 1980 to 2000. Most of my players were between 12 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turned anyone away.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Swetha
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Swetha: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

you coached me in 1990. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Nsukka.
